Baseball Lesson & Facility Information | San Antonio TX


All baseball lessons take place in San Antonio at KT Lane Athletics located at: 11618 Jones Maltsberger Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78216. There are 7 indoor cages, 4 pitching mounds, and 200×200 foot outdoor turf practice field. We specialize in hitting, catching, throwing and fielding lessons. Generally we are available 6 days a week from Monday-Friday and Sunday.

Coach Jory Goldstrom (Owner)

Coach Jory first started coaching baseball after graduating from New Mexico State in 2014. Since then, he has coached at the college, high school, and youth level. His coaching job was as an assistant with Team Southern Nevada, a summer collegiate baseball team.

After the summer season was over, he moved to Lawrence, Kansas where he worked for Next Level Baseball Academy. As a coach with Next Level he coached private baseball lessons year-round for kids between the ages of 6-18 years old at an indoor facility. In the fall and summer seasons, he was the head coach for their 17 and under baseball teams that competed in showcase tournaments throughout the midwest. He gained valuable experience while working with Next Level both as a private lessons instructor and as a head coach.


After his time with Next Level He moved to Nashville where he worked at Nashville Baseball Academy providing lessons and coaching youth baseball.

In June of 2020 he moved to San Antonio from Nashville and have continued coaching lessons here! As a lesson instructor he works with any child ages 5-18 and primarily coaches hitting and infield lessons. He is the current Owner of Jgold Texas Baseball LLC


Athletic Achievement


He grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and played baseball at Omaha Westside High School. He played three years of Varsity baseball, and his senior year was an All-State player. That same season, his team won the State Championship at the highest class In Nebraska.

After high school, he played two seasons at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. The team won the conference title his freshman year, competed in the Junior College World Series, and finished third in the nation that season. His sophomore season he was selected as an All-Conference player as an infielder.

He finished his playing career at New Mexico State University which is a NCAA Division I school. He started two years at second base while playing at NMSU. He played his entire junior season at second base without committing an error. In his second career start at NMSU he had 4 hits against Texas Tech with the last one being a walk off to win the game in the bottom of the 9th.
